Our story

From beach snacks to your desk

Baratie Kitchen began as a cloud kitchen. We cooked for people who came to Kovalam beach, and we learned what hungry visitors wanted.

Then we noticed a bigger gap. Plenty of people working in offices around OMR wanted food that tasted like home, and they could not get it at lunch. So we started cooking that too, and delivering it.

Our founder is a lifelong manga fan. He wanted Chinese and Japanese dishes to be something everyone could afford, not a treat saved for special days. That is why ramen, kimchi rice, katsu don and gyoza sit on our menu next to Chennai-style 65s, tawa fry and biryani.

We cook from our outlet at Jesem Food Street in Padur and deliver with our own riders, so the person who hands you the food works for us.
